In 1994, Mrs. Puck Oldeboerrigter-van Hilst, the widow of visual artist Melle Oldeboerrigter (1908-1976), established the Melle Foundation. The foundation’s objectives are:
a. To provide support for exhibitions, publications, and/or research on the life and work of the artist Melle Johannes Oldeboerrigter.
b. To provide support for promotional activities in the aforementioned field.
c. To manage his artistic estate.
d. Furthermore, everything related to this in the broadest sense of the word or that may be conducive to it.
The Melle Foundation has ANBI status. This means that donations are 125 percent tax-deductible.
